If I turn the radio up loud or roll the windows down it's not so bad, but with the windows up its very annoying. It has always been a little noisy since I've owned it, so I finally got tired of it and decided to remove the rear cover and give it a look. MUD! Well mud mixed in w/ gear oil. I drained the sludge and cleaned it out best I could and filled it w/ new clean gear oil, and now the thing was noisy as hell!Worked exactly as I needed in my transfer cases and rear differential. I was having a grinding noise at 200k, the oil was changed at 100k, but I changed the oil and still had noise. I added 1 oz to the transfer case and also added 1 oz to the rear differential and my grinding noise went away completely. I was so amazed with how well this worked. delta 9 nausea xa
